Next weekend (President’s Day Weekend) is the Miami International Boat Show Thursday February 16th-Monday February 20th.
This is South Florida’s biggest event. On a side note- the event has been mentioned a lot recently in numerous Super Bowl bid conversations- the Boat Show fills up so many hotel rooms that there is no way Miami-Dade hotels couldn’t accommodate the Super Bowl the same weekend (http://www.miamiherald.com/2012/01/27/2612263_p2/dolphins-might-want-broward-out.html– general info about a potential 2016 Super Bowl bid, check out pg. 2 for info about the Boat Show conflict).
The Boat Show occurs at three venues, with your ticket good for entry to all three. A five-day pass for the entire show is $80.00, $35 for the premiere day on Thursday, and $18.00 per day for Friday-Monday. Children under 15 are free when accompanied by an adult.
The three locations are the Miami Beach Convention Center, Sea Isle Marina and Yachting Center (just off the Venetian Causeway, Miami), and Strictly Sail Miami next to Bayside Marketplace. There are courtesy shuttle buses and water taxis between all three sites.

Hopefully the weather cooperates!
