Fall 2014 I had a conference in St. Louis and we were staying across the street from the Arch. The Arch really didn’t have much of an impression on me when I was a kid, but this trip I found it to be really cool. The fall colors were also very impressive. It had been a long time since experiencing fall like that. Had to take some time to stomp on a bunch of crunchy leaves!
I also really liked the food in St. Louis and felt like I had barely scratched the surface. I felt similarly with the sights (besides the Arch) and visiting the neighborhoods. Next time more restaurants (especially BBQ) and sights (like the art museum and Forest Park) will be on my list.
